Katherine Stein is a professional actor and dramaturgical researcher who has spent her career asking the same essential question: How does context shape meaning? From regional California stages and the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why to presenting research at Town Hall Theatre in Lafayette, CA, her work has always centered audience, community, and cultural perspective.
Now a graduate student at Mills College at Northeastern University pursuing a Master of Public Administration, she is channeling that lens into the study of organizational systems, community building, and policy analysis — including her advocacy work with Actors' Equity Association.
